“Life takes us to unexpected places, love brings us home.”

I provide compassionate end-of-life support, ensuring that you and your loved ones feel heard, honored, and cared for during life’s final journey. I strive to provide comfort and positive guidance through advance planning, care-giver education, respite and legacy planning.

Everyone has the right to die peacefully and with dignity. I take the time to carefully plan with you. I honor the choices you make in how you wish to spend your last moments, and what it is you wish to leave behind. I offer encouragement and support to your family and friends and help them to participate in the process to the level you wish in order to bring comfort and meaning to everyone. I am here to listen and show up in the way that best serves you. I meet you where you are, with compassion.

What I Offer:

  • I provide caring companionship which can involve listening to stories and reflections. I provide a space free of judgment in which you can talk about what’s on your mind or choose to sit in peaceful silence. Additionally, I offer respite visits for primary caregivers, allowing them to take a break, rest, or attend to other responsibilities outside of caregiving.

  • I help bridge communication between the individual, family, and healthcare providers, ensuring that everyone is aligned in their support. I also provide information about what to expect physically and emotionally during the dying process, helping to demystify it.

  • If desired, together we delve into cherished values and memories, and I assist in creating a remembrance or legacy project which could take the form of a video, scrapbook, letters, or other creative expressions. I also help you take the steps necessary to wrap up affairs, both logistically and otherwise.

  • I assist  in documenting end-of-life wishes, including funeral preferences, memorial service details, and distribution of personal belongings. I help plan for final days and create an environment that allows for as much relaxation as possible. This includes discussing preferences for how and where to spend final moments, how to arrange the environment, and the types of interactions that are desired with family, caregivers, and others. We will also consider comforting elements such as sounds, guided visualizations, readings, scents, lighting, and touch. I help to ensure choices are made with conscious awareness about how to honor the last moments of life.

  • I follow up with family members and loved ones as a companion through grief, and provide references to local resources available to assist in bereavement.
